Hi

Can anyone tell me where I can buy the complete brake piping system (the pipes that carry the brake fluid to the calipers / pad / for an LS400 K Reg 1993. The current pipes have started to rust / rot (strangely enough the garage had another Lexus 1993 with exactly the same problem). Was this a design fault????

Spoke to Lexus and they were a little bit on the expensive side. And as for fitting, hey I could buy a second hand car for the price of the pipes and the fitting.

Anyway I would be grateful for a quick reply.

You should be able to have matching brake pipes made up, ready to fit ,
if you can get the old ones off intact.
Someone in your area will know some garage or independant who can do this.
After replacement spray them with 'Waxoyl'
Mine are going rusty too, should'nt happen on a car costing £50k, Lexus take note.
