Ahmet
Well, as we have all seen

http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...topic=20512&hl=

What are the conclusions ? ........ and explain your answer below.

I'm going for, "Unsure, may grow on me" ........ I do however think the interior is impressive, just the body work ...... hmm I dunno ! blink.gif
Anees
Agree. not sure - but may be much better in the flesh!

Interior ......... Very nice. Touch of class

Front view....... Very much a Lexus

Rear view....... Reminds me of an Alfa

Overall............ It looks more beefy. Like the old iS on steroids.

I like it biggrin.gif

I like it, it looks modern and with some very clean lines.
The interior to my mind is fantastic. Then again I'm just an old wrinkly
Monster-Mat

I'd have one if only Marion would hurry up and save for me!

Hmmm. Not as aggresive looking as the current... Looks like a coupe can be made out from it though... Will have to see in da flesh.
PhoneDrome
Very mucho

I see, it will be a good playground for Mr. Prolex biggrin.gif

I really like all of it. It's fantastic and has to be lowered hehe.gif

Ugly from the side and back. Maybe a Sportcross version would look better, if not, then I'll look elsewhere when its time to change. Bought my Sportcross IS200 new last year, will stick with it for the moment I think!

I instantly liked the new model, it has very few styling clues from the current model, but that's to be expected,
The Interior looks great,
The front is the only part that has a hint of the current model,
The rear, very Alfa, with a tinge of Mazda 6,
The sides have Audi A6 type wheel arches and slab sides,
Last thought, love the twin exhausts, but i find the mirror a bit big,
Pity Lexus never asked the LOC for some design input msn-wink.gif

def wanna see it in a coupe version, a 350 in coupe would be the nuts!!!

i think its realy good how they have retained some of the origional character, altho i would have been more happy if they had retained a little more of th rear light layout in some way.

also i think its gonna look great in a styling kit version and lowered with some nicer rims on it!!

Looks like what the L Sportline kit, could look like

When I first saw the old (!!) version I had to have one - and did for 3 years - the new one just doesn't appeal to me from the pics though that may change once actually seen and driven ...

Generally, I like it. It could so easily have been a tarted up Avensis (which is a good car on its own)but Lex have done their own thing. The interior is classy but I was one of those who liked the chronograph dials and was a little disappointed to see a 'normal' 2 main dial solution.
SHAHZ
Although it does look like a mix of the 626 & accord i do like it smile.gif
Sipey
Don't like it at all but voted who cares as my next car is not going to be a lexus anyway
shorty
Like the front but it is strange that the bit people seem to like the most on the old IS (rear lights) judging by the number of people that have copied them that they did not do something similar on the new IS instead it looks like they have stuck some old Alpha one’s on

I do quite like the robustness look of the car, although i STILL prefer the "old" current IS.

The rear didn't remind me so much of the Alfa, more of a new 5series BMW, like the 525 and 530 you see alot of people driving.

I guess the IS250 and the 525 are aimed at the market as being in the same class of vehicle?

I voted "YES" i do like it (but prefer current IS more blush.gif )

I like it. Didn't at first, but it grew on me - and as it seems possible to get it without the wood in the interior... I just put my deposit down on one smile.gif

I've spent four painful weeks trying to find something "not old man" to replace my IS300 in December... but once you've had the Lexus experience, I don't think you can go back.
