Hi,
as far as we know you cannot get these to work in the uk, have you approached sharp in Japan or Taiwan yet to see if they have a fix for this?

I have heard of a company that was offering this service, personally having worked with imports for a while now it's really not a viable option, I think you will find it cheaper to buy new from UK.
