I know part of the beauty of these forums is the slight meandering that can occur but on some of the longer threads it's difficult to work out where they started. Can it be fixed so the original post is at the top of every page and the original author can edit that if any salient facts change. Be really good for meets etc when dates times etc can change.

You should be able to edit your OWN posts - just hit the edit button

You misunderstand. It's not editing your own posts I'm on about. Take one of the longer threads such as the track day. It would help a) if the original post that started it all was at the beginning of every page and if the original author of that started the thread updated it as proposed dates, themes etc change.

Oh Ok - I got you now.

The hardest part of all is the bit about getting the original author to update the thread - technology is the easy part!!:bounce:

I appreciate the problem over part ( but (a) would be a start!
