Sorry to ask this sort of question again but I am getting a set of 17" X 8" wide original fitment second generation Lexus wheels with a 50mm offset as spares whilst I get my original sport wheels refurbed.
I have been advised that they will fit my Mk1 GS300.
I am getting conflicting advice on what size tyres will fit and am totally confused now.
Can someone let me know what common size readily available tyre size will fit.
I do know that a 245 45x17 will give virtually the same rolling circumference but can you fit 245 wide tyres on an 8" wide wheel? I have 245 wide tyres on my 8.5" wide sport wheels and they look a tight fit.
Any advice appreciated!!
