Hi Guys
I dont know if someone out there can help, but I am looking for a spare blanking switch to go where my exisiting rear fog light button is. I am taking out the fog light button as I am doing the rear fog >> stop/tail mod.

I cant just leave the button there because it will fail the National Car Test over here in Ireland if they see the button there but yet the fogs wont come on when they press it.

I have been informed that if the fog light button is not there and replaced with a blanking switch, then they do not test the vehicle for foglight functionality.

Do you not need fogs then?

When I did my conversion, Fogs still worked (as well as 4 tail lights and brake lights)....

Zee how did you go about this! I have a friend over here who is a Toyota mechanic but I am sure if he had schematics to work off it would be great!

I know fluff and a few others have wiring diagrams on here but I am after your setup Zee. Where I have Tail/stop lights but when fog button in cabin is pressed I have double filament light up and hence fogs!

Speak to Rob Fluff.

This workshop was the basis of my conversion.

I just left the fog switch as is and when pressed, over-rode the brake signal.

It was over 2 years ago when I did it - so can't remember if anything else was needed....
