Hi, I have an import, and cannot switch GPS off. Anyone know how I go about disconnecting the GPS?

I guess it has started to get annoying, a Japanese lady trying to tell you to turn around, and head East, as you will not be on the Japanese maps, you are too far West off the map...
What GPS system is it? Is it a full sat-nav? Can you switch between Sat-nav gps and dvd/radio/tv?
