Full Version: Exhaust Boom/popping On Warm Up ?

New windscreen today and what a difference !...like a new car ! ...thanks for advice guys....Now then ...I was warming the motor up today to drop the oil and noticed an intermittent popping or boom from exhausts every few seconds....totally intermittent and irregular....put hand over each exhaust end and you could feel the pop too...goes away when idle speed drops after "choke" goes off....then all seems fine ....anyone similar ?...I would never have noticed if I had just driven off as normal...thanks again fellas.
I had the same pop with worn spark plugs.
Yep ...fixed it with new plugs...thanks mate !

need to change the spark plugs in my LS400 1993 model , how easy is it to change them? any major parts need to be moved first ?
