Been trying to find the OEM standard wheel offset for a Mk3 LS400. 38-45mm seems to be the acceptable range quoted by many alloy wheel suppliers, a different one told me yesterday that the exact offset was 50mm???
Does anyone know what the exact offset of the original wheel is? and what the acceptable tolerance is

The offset is stamped on the wheels,on my mk1 its on the outside and its 50
You want to get as close to a 50 offset,if its the same on the newer models as possible,or the front tyres will touch and damage the wheel arches.

On my '94 MK I have 17" Lexus wheels 8J x 17
The supplier says the offset is the same for MK 1/2/3--------40
The supplier says the offset is the same for MK 1/2/3--------40
I was running 18s on my LS,may be on 17s you can get away with a lower offset then
