at the riskof sounding sarcastic Brian - which I assure you i am not - this is a person who develops (software) using Microsoft Visual Basic.

Brian,
What Matthew wrote is exactly what I was talking about.
Matthew,
I'm looking for either to perm or contract to be honest, but perm would be my preference.
Mike,
Hertfordshire is just a little too far away I'm afraid.
Thanks for the replies though guys.
Anyone else out there in the IT sector that knows of any VB roles?

The biggest problem with IT people is that they expect evryone else to know their specific jargon
Its a big world out there!

Jargon is designed to make people feel more clever than they are
Good luck with the job hunting Mojo.

Claire G you have made me feel better after that remark.
All I can say to MOJO is ' Get that Mojo working and good luck with job hunting. Arriving in a Lexus should get you a bonus point!'

Thanks for the support guys.
Soz if the content confused people. I just figured if someone didn't understand the terminology they would just ignore it.

What you really need is to try a quality company that not only offers an internet presence but can also offer you the branch network to support your job hunting
