Does anyone know of any Visual Basic developer roles going in the Leeds / Yorkshire area?

Cheers

Mojo

Being a retired planner can you please identify what a Visual Basic Developer is.I can say that I have never heard of this role.
Matthew_McNally
at the riskof sounding sarcastic Brian - which I assure you i am not - this is a person who develops (software) using Microsoft Visual Basic.

Mike246
Mojo,

Always the wrong time or the wrong place!

We company's looking for a VBA developer but we are based in Hertfordshire
Mojo
Brian,

What Matthew wrote is exactly what I was talking about.

Matthew,
I'm looking for either to perm or contract to be honest, but perm would be my preference.

Mike,
Hertfordshire is just a little too far away I'm afraid.

Thanks for the replies though guys.
Anyone else out there in the IT sector that knows of any VB roles?

trust you've tried all the usual suspects, jobsite, jobserve etc?
Mojo
yes mate, fully registered on all of them.
I was just hoping word of mouth might be another avenue to explore

The biggest problem with IT people is that they expect evryone else to know their specific jargon
Its a big world out there!
Claire G
Jargon is designed to make people feel more clever than they are

Good luck with the job hunting Mojo.
Brian Berry
Claire G you have made me feel better after that remark.
All I can say to MOJO is ' Get that Mojo working and good luck with job hunting. Arriving in a Lexus should get you a bonus point!'
Steve
in a LOC cap and Tshirt with a LOC Pen... you will then get your LOC wallet out to get a business card.. in your wallet will be a LOC Gold Card... That gold card will glissin in his eye!... the job is then yours :lol::lol:
Steve
but that wont happen because you dont have a gold card :lol::lol:
Mojo
Thanks for the support guys.
Soz if the content confused people. I just figured if someone didn't understand the terminology they would just ignore it.

What you really need is to try a quality company that not only offers an internet presence but can also offer you the branch network to support your job hunting
