Ok so I parked the car under a tree (dont ask me what type) but I now have half a dozen globules of sap on the car. Surprisingly large blobs!
How the hell do you clean these off?
Seriously, has anyone any ideas, cos the little gits do not want to clean off and I am afraid of taking off half the paint if I try something stronger than soapy water.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved and acted upon.

tree sap is evil it can strip your paint too can't say i have had to deal with it but i would imagine there has to be a specialist product only one i can think of at teh min is auto glym intensive tar remover would imagine it will take off the sap if it does away wit htar

If you can't find mineral spirits and alcohol, I can recommend the Autoglym intensive tar remover. I used to live in a flat where the allocated parking space was under pine trees. The car was forever being covered in goo which went solid after a couple of days. I found it was best to put a bit of remover on the goo first and leave for a couple of minutes. Then go back and apply more remover and start to rub gently and the goo would start to rub off. I did this on my VW Bora for almost 2 years with no effect on the paintwork. Now I have a Lexus, I bought a house with no trees in the garden!!!! Problem solved!
