i got similar message from a chap in spain last year when i was selling my lex as well. i followed the game plan and recieved a cheque for 14000 pounds when i was selling the car for 9500. he said a client owed him money in uk so the person will pay me the full amount plus what he owes him. i later got a fake royal bank of scotland cheque which appeared to be scanned on a cheap paper. i email all my correspondents to the police but no action was taked probably because the crime had not been commited yet.

Whoever comes to collect the car, have the cops waiting to arrest them for fraud.
Or if you're feeling cranky, just kill 'em. Who's going to report 'em missing?

Tell them the car is very fast and they mustn't be allergic to sheet. Ask if they are ok to eat sheet cos thats what will happen when they drive over 30 MPH with the sunroof open
