folowed a GS300 in Wigan tonight, at around 7.20pm. Except the badge said V300 Twin Turbo. Any one heard of such a thing?

yes - that would be an imported Aristo (jap name for GS).

To know if it was the geniue thing, it would read "Aristo" between the light rather "GS300", and there would be 2 bulbs in the outer edge brake/side lights, UK GS only has the 1 bulbs and the 2 lights on the boot would also light up if the fog conversion was not used with these.
