Use the master key :shifty: .... :whistling: a brick through the window:D :D....seriously though, there must be some sort of method of gaining entry if there is a electric failure...is the boot lid keyless

The boot does have a keyhole. I have this car, it does have one, on the left of the rubbery release handle, opposite side to the rear view camera.

Plus the front doors have one each. The keyfob does contain a metal key.

did a test.

got out of the car and took (as passenger) the key fob with me and walked away. a friend of my who drove could still drive but got a message on the display that the fob was out of reach.

later we spoke with lexus about this and they told us that once the car is started you don't need the key fob. but as soon you stop the engine it won't start again. so if they hijack your car but not the key fob (you just keep it in your pocket right) they can only drive as far the fuel will last and than it's over... but we all do have a tracker install though!
