Well have just started painting the calipers after a bit of a thought of going red i have decided on black have some holo decals to go over the top when they are dry doing the fronts today then the rears possibly tomorrow.
A quick poser for anyone in the know, how long does it take hammerite to go off read the can but it only says apply the secong coat within 8hrs
Going to mesh my wheels tioo as they are a bit nasty done one already and its come up really quite well may wash them with a blue mettalic ink prior to JAE to give a different look then i will have to pray it don't rain :hehe:

You should be able to apply a second coat after 30 mins in this hot weather. I found it easier to apply the second coat after thinning the paint a little. Leave it to harden for a week before the stickers go on.

front two calipers are now done with stickers on (i couldn't wait) and i am quite happy however i have the L symbol for the rear and on my rear calipers i can't see where to put it can i assume the caliper configuration is different on the IS
Mr Morse
Here's the rear on my IS - think it should be the same as your GS?

if you put the stickers on whilst the paint is wet they will get sucked into the paint giving them an embossed look. im told it doesnt work with chrome though
