I'll need some sort of public liability insurance, can anyone recomend any company I should try?
Thanks

Brett,
SNAP!!! Me too!
I just got my insurance sorted out last week. It was from a local broker. Cost me £262 for the year and thats insurace for acting as an "IT Engineer" and also using a soldering iron.
Insurance was from:
West Pennine Insurance Services,
84, Church Street,
Littleborough.

Ask to speak to Colin Hardman and say Anees refered you.
I wish you good luck - but dealing with the general public and fixing home PC's

-Rather you then me! I've had laughably bad experiences with doing it! (Someone onced tried to part-exchange a plant pot they had for a new TFT Monitor!

) Another person kept telling me that their monitor is broken because their cheap pirate VCD's from china are not the same quality was the UK DVD's they have.
You need lots of patience!
Thankfully most of my work should be dealing with businesses/councils (fingers crossed)
Anees
PS I may actually be able to put some work your way in the future if things work out for both of us
