Due to certain people revving up their s/c motors i am now looking at the engine and thinking theres a big gap there what can i possibly fill it with :D
Now as there are no s/c's specifically for the GS i was wondering if the IS300 one would work as besides the VVti they are essential the same thing

So comments are invited as to the plausibility because hopefully if i walk out of the RAF into a job straight away i will have the cash there to get stuck in

this is what has caught my eye at the minute and for those that have the hole on the front bumper i am assuming its a ram intake where do u get the circular covering or was it part of the bumper ?
Mr Morse
I'm sure Mr Prolex will be along soon......

wouldnt it be cheaper just to buy a TT lump out of a mk4 supra and do that up, and stick that in?

if i do the turbo conversion i may as well just source an aristo and besides i haven't seen a s/c GS yet so it would be unique :D which is either a good thing or bucket loads of trouble :duh:
So dave this hole in your bumper did u do it or was it there already

Hi

did it for JAE...........car feels a bit perkier as its getting direct cold air which is good........

on the s/c the US ones are designed for 2000 + IS300 with diff engine management systems so you may experience difficulkties there........however I agree twould be nice.........

let me know if its a goer as I'd be interested in such a project :whistling:

What about the turbo mark at Tdi was selling did it find a new owner ??.
legendswraith
i do agree its alot of cash and that to be perfectly honest it isn't that practical but i just have it in my head to do it and i think its stuck plus it means i don't have to do a full engine transplant and mess with wiring :duh: (don't do electrickery) as for the EMS i assumed i would have to piggyback anyway for a charger
All being well November i will be able to look at it seriously
