Some loon was getting rather naughty and swearing a load of abuse to me and me mate @ work .......

Time came to put the cuffs on ... but he wasn't having any of it ...... minute I took the cuffs into my hand ...... off he ran !

Gave chase ........ (on foot) across the pedestrian crossing ..... (flashing amber) so some in a VW Golf decides to pull off and drive straight into me (about 10mph) hitting my leg ..... and whacking my hand across the bonnett !!

Never mind the fact I was wearing a big bright YELLOW jacket .... he claims he didn't see me !

Oh well ..... went to the hospital .... got an x ray, lucky enough I just have bruising ... (hand, knee and ankle) ...... if he was travelling any faster, I would have fo' sho' had a few broken legs ... and maybe more

Oh well .... I'm still here to tell the tale

... he's fine! Just been speaking to him, and he's at home with his feet up [i]taking the day off [/i] [b]again[/b]! (The pain was probably due to sleeping in too comfortably...)

Hey mate, glad to hear that the injury wasn't more severe- try and take it easy (no DIY!) for a little while as sometimes these things take a while to settle, and can get a little worse before they get better.

And yes, it could have been worse, it could have been a Lexus that you dented with your leg
