My insurance is up for renewal on November 10th, does anoyone know of a good company that I can change too, I'm currently with Admiral but the premiums went up a silly amount with the Supercharger etc, didn't worry too much since it was only for a couple of months.

I'm looking to change in time for the 10th, spoken to a couple of firms so far and the quotes are ok although not great, does anyone have a small specialist firm that they could recommend or any company in general that might be competitive?

Or Adrian Flux 08700 777888 they have been dealing in modified cars for years.

But don’t dismiss the big insurers, try all the 0800 numbers; they are all switched on with modification nowadays.

I got a really competitive quote with Bell - they knocked about £600 off other companies who had been quoting me....for a standard IS200 Sport

I thought confused.com were pretty confused themselves - they took great time to quote me more than the price i told them I already had - go figure!

I am with Belldirect too Graeme and they charged me quite a bit for mods. What do you mean when you say they dont mind mods?

I just ran a quote with BellDirect and they quoted just about double what I'm currently paying with Direct Line

direct line were good for me... especially when they send me a quote for this year and it is lower than last yar... by £80!!

By don't mind mods, I mean they understand them and are willing to offer cover. Some companys just say no!

My isurance is due in December, starting to shop around had quotes ranging from £1,300 up to £3,200 !!!
Tesco are the cheapest at the moment.
Does anybody have their insurance through the Lexus scheme, I have seen the leaflets in the showroom not tried for a quote yet though.

If Tesco are quoting you £1300, then don't even bother trying Lexus. It'll be much more.

When I first got mine the cheapest I found was Direct Line £1100, Lexus wanted about £1800 I think

Just got a quote from the specialist vehicle deparment of Adrian flux, filled in the form on the internet so its' only provisional. Fully comp quote with all the mods on my car came in at 1099, this is stunning compared to the other quotes that I've had.

i will call them tonight to see if they've made a mistake and if not to change insurance companies!

Adrian Flux just quoted me £735 for my renewal. That is over £100 cheaper than Direct Line, which was in turn much cheaper than anyone else I tried! Trust me this is an excellent quote.
