As the title suggests, I changed my battery and now my tickover is lumpy and uneven. Anyone any suggestions as to why this is, and what I can do to overcome it ?

ps only cost me £39, think I got a good deal !

When I reset the ECU on the Tezza it starts fine the first time and if you switch off and start again the revs go up to 2000 then it "hunts" between 1500 and 2000 for about 5 seconds and then settles down to run at 1500!

What I found is that after a reset the best thing to do is thrash it for a few miles immediately and then it settles down to normal.

When you changed the battery the ECU will have gone back to factory settings.

Don't know if it's connected but maybe worth a try.

Cheers Mac, I'll reset it and thrash the life out of it !
