Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the settings on the automatic closure of the windows and roof?

I would like it to close them with just a short press, rather than having to hold the button down until fully closed. I have done it a few times where I walk away thinking they are all closed, and come back to the car and find a window half open !!

I know what you're going to say, check before I walk away, but that is SO uncool isn't it !! :D

Think you may be able to get the dealer to change the CBEST settings I think they're called as I think they control what you are after..

There are some settings in this thread - look at Rodder's post:

Not sure if that covers exactly what you want to do though - not sure which options are applicable to the UK cars....

pretty certain the CBEST settings dont allow this mate.

You can turn the feature on or off - but not alter the timing.

I use this feature a lot, as where I park during the day gets very hot. So I pay at the machine, and open the windows / sunroof from there to let the heat out while I walk back.

Its the sunroof that takes the time. If you closed the sunroof yourself, then got out - you can open and close the windows in about a second.

According to the 1998 - 1999 TSB SS001-99 the only options you have for the sunroof / windows is enabled or disabled. You can also unlink the sunroof so only the windows open or close.

Hope that makes sense...
