Aft'noon all. Bit of a dilema here... ill be getting my IS soon and im deliberating about what to do? Basicly i have 2 options... I can either nicely modify my car i.e. carbon mirrors
suspension
bonnet struts
dark lights
tints
sound system
full body kit
manifold (decat)
induction
exhaust
all for about 3K

OR just get a supercharger and not much else for bout 3k

is the supercharger really that good? how much bhp extra will i get with just intake n exhaust mods?
It either looks or power really!
Any input/advice would be great!
Thanks, Calvin

Hi there.... im sure the local folks will be along soon to give advice ...

but my thoughts are, you should probably go for the supercharger. It instantly gives you 50bhp increase and its a great piece of machinery with little maintenance.

Also, I think the 3K for the S/C, u'll be gettin top notch tech ... while for "all" the stuff you mentioned above, if u get good quality stuff, it'll cost u waaaay more than 3K......

for an IS, i think u wouldnt settle anythin other than the best for ur baby ...

enjoy :D

id think it kinda silly to get the supercharger......the everything else

make the engine breath good first.....then pump it full of gas....

basics people...basics :excl:

I would do the supercharger first - so long as you get the manifold and exhaust done at the same time (and consider anti-rolls and springs too).

The asthetic stuff can be done over time....
