What gearbox fits what car?

You are having a laugh if you are thinking of changing a Ls to a manual gearbox.

A friend of mine did this with a Granada,took him ages, he said he would never do it again,and he was a mechanic

A friend of mine did this in his audi.. Took him a weekend..

the Audi can have a manual box, the LS was never intended to be manual, it can be done....but it wont be easy

Do you know what gearbox that fits on the engine? If there is any other cars that has the same engine AND a manual gearbox it will be possible to use that.. Right!?

So if you guys know any cars that uses the same engine, mention them please =)

no gearbox is a direct fit

The soarer has the same v8, yes?
does it come with a manula option?
I think I read an Aus site a while ago and they were racing a manual car.

The Soarer V8 is not available in manual. The 2.5TT is.

No manual gearbox was made to fit the V8. You would have to modify one.

There really would be no need to do this - the LS400 is plenty quick enough already! Believe me.
If, however, you definitely need V8, manual, RWD then perhaps a Mustang might suit your needs better.
