In True Loz fashion I have tested my car to distruction!

Last sunday I had a gearbox problem it would not take 4 or drive and the R light came on if u tried. took it into Lexus and low, it turned out to be the gear selector switch. two days later and Just shy of 600 quid :crybaby:

lighter I have a blindingly good car again.

Not impressed that something so fundamental would go in under 70,000 lexus main dealer serviced miles... THought these were reliable cars :duh:

£600 for a switch.........hmmmmmm

did they have to remove the gearbox to fit the new switch.....the switch is normally on the side of the gearbox of auto's along with the "kickdown" the speed pickup....reverse indicator..........and level indicators

£600 for a switch.........hmmmmmmm.......prolly get a recon box for £600
