120k km isn't a lot, certainly not high mileage!

There are Supras in the UK with over 500k km on still going strong on original engine, gearbox and turbos.

If you look after her, she will look after you!

Gaz.

Yep, totally agree with Gaz. I bought Tempo's V300 which had about 105,000 miles plus, but had a compression check done on the engine and everything seems perfectly fine. Although I am looking on having a new fully built 3.4L Stroker engine brought in from the US hehe.

As Gaz said though 120,000KM is not alot, in miles that's approximately 75,000. Just look to see if the Timing Belt has been changed @ 90k KM's, and well all the usual maintenance has been done on the car (regular oil change, with filter, etc). Also look for any white smoke coming from the exhaust when pushed hard to see if the Valve Stem Seals will need replacing although I doubt they will at that sort of mileage. Look for any water leaks in the boot. Also check that all electrics work perfectly and perform a kickdown etc.

Apart from that read up on the buyers guide for Supra's on www.mkiv.com, that'll help you get started on what to see regarding the 2JZ-GTE :).

A new engine would cost about $4000 from the US, but you'll also have shipping, tax, import duty, etc to pay on top of that, but this would be a brand new blueprinted block. If you need more information regarding a new engine etc then give me a PM I'll forward the details onto you :).

The rear steering rack can break if you need a spare PM me.
