I read this in the paper lunchtime - had to laugh.

A "school/college" in Scotland have been told that they cannot use Snow White and the Seven Dwarves as there schoolplay title - because it may offend short people. They will have to rename it as Snow White - and that's it. They can use the term Gnomes but not Dwarves ?!?

Oh, and they cannot call the Dwarf "Bashful" as it may offend people who are shy.

I must apologise now if I have offended any shy short people out there, but come on, where does this end ?

PS. I am follickly challenged, not bald / receding. OKAY

no wonder the Uk is as F*****ed as it is. too much political correctness, u dont see other countries bending over and taking one, its like the failed assylum seeker that said he might get tortured if he goes back to Zimbabwe so they let him stay.

i have a repatriation flight to sierra leone, they get dumped at the airport and the flight takes off again, anyone complains about it back here they get told its none of their business, case closed.

I read that article too - there was a quote from a "short guy" saying I don't mind being called a dwarf at all and don't know anyone in my situation who does either - why didn't they ask us before dreaming up this crap

Seriously, there must be a sh!tload of people with nothing better to do, sat on their backsides trying to figure out how they can make something, ANYTHING, appear offensive to some minority group or other - just so they can have their 15 minutes (or research grant).
