Does anyone know what the warranty is on the GS430 (Mk1 GS430) and GS300 MK2 (same shape)

tyres - tyre manufactures warranty

Yes you can add 1 year unlimited warranties, I think up to 7 years old. It's basically the same warranty you get with a used Lexus certified vehicle.

does it have to be continual from the old warranty?

I don't think it does. If it isn't continual they will want to give the vehicle a once over to make sure there are no faults before the warranty starts.
