As the topic says how do I go about changing the speedo readout for miles per hour instead of kilometers per hour and how do you go about taking out the 112mph speed limiter?

If it's the same as the MR2 tubby, there is a cheat card available that overrides the limiter and converts to mph. Try Gaz Walker @ Envy Performance

Failing that Thor's gubbins will work fine as well.

We weren't all that sure. I spoke to gaz about it this morning. Is it an electronic speedo? Will the thor box for the MK4 supra work for conversion and delimiting?

I'm not sure about the specifics, but I spoke to Pete from Thor last week and he reckoned that it should all work without a problem.
