If there's a car at a dealership but it's miles away, can I ask for it to be brought down to a local dealership to be looked at? Also, does the price negotitation happen with the dealership who had the car or the one that I will be seeing it at? And does it kind of restrict the amount I may be able to get off the price by doing it this way?

Correct me if im wrong, but depends on if its part of the same dealer franchise. I.e Lexus Nottingham is not part of Lexus Leicester. Leicester is part of the Sytner group.

Ring and ask them, they may have argreements with other dealers............

My car came from Lexus Stoke, but I paid for it and picked it up from Lexus Leeds. you may find they wont budge on the price tho, but they told me they can get any car from any Lexus dealer. Part of the rules of being a Lexus dealer I guess.

If the two dealers are part of the same group then there shouldn't be any problem. If not then the dealer will have to purchase it off the other dealer and therefore they will probably want a deposit and you will probably find it difficult to haggle on the price.

It would probably work out cheaper to take a day off work and drive to the original dealer to strike a deal.
