The car is going in to Lexus Nottingham for the 20K service tomorrow, I requested a price without the oil/filter change but with the additional brake fluid change and was quoted £155 inclusive of the Gold discount/

Sounds very reasonable. 20K service is a major service and as yours is a IS300, usualy more expensive than 200 services!
It's the rip-off oil change that forms the biggest part of the cost!
Do you get the oil change done elsewhere?

Yep - I buy the oil and filter myself and get Quick Fit to change it for £15.
Never really thought of doing it that way, must save yourself a bit there..

Get some of this:
Took the car down to the dealer this morning.......and was told that they wouldn't be stamping the service book as I had declined the full service:
No oil/filter change
No windscreen washer top up
Anyway, I told them to spin and walked out.....Can these people be serious?
My impression of Lexus Nottingham had improved considerably over the past couple of visits......now they are back down to the bottom of the heap
