L&G
I have recently converted almost all of my lights (except headlights & dash) to LED bulbs - these are easily the highest quality and brightest LED products available today. None of these products are available in the UK.
All of these bulbs and load resistors are simple to fit!
If there is sufficient interest, I am prepared to do a Group Buy on these bulbs. Shipping costs to the UK play a big part of the price, so obviously the more peeps who are interested the cheaper the price.
Prices will be discounted based upon orders of 1-5, 6-10, over 10
Based upon the IS model, but I'm sure these are common to all the Lexus range:

Do we have any pictures on an actual car, ie the brakes etc.
Would give a better idea of how they look.

Pardon my stupidity but why the load resistors? Are the bulbs above recomended wattage or something?
Will the clear 7440s fit in the front indicators cos I don't have the indicator mod?

LED indicators draw a very low current, unless load resistors are fitted the bulbs will "doulble flash"
Yes - the clear 7440's will fit your front indicators

My reversing bulbs arrived (with quite a thud) through the letterbox this morning. Whoppers aren't they, Mike!
I note though that you recommend the red brake/fog bulbs for clear lenses. I'd recommend them for red too, as the red light will all get through the lens. The white one will be emitting blue and green light for nothing, as the lens will absorb it all. In other words I'd expect the red ones to be brighter than the whites when fitted behind a red lens.

You know the way the indicators flash like mad when a bulb's gone? That's what you'll get without the resistors.

Mike any chance of the following,
501 sidelights in blue (if blue will fail the MOT then super white please).
501 side indicators in amber
Interior light in blue
Rear fog lights in red for the clear lenses i have. (not sure if its single or double filament I need, I haven't done the brake mod so I guess 7440 single).
Rear indicators 1156
and also as many load resistors as i need.
PM me how much, how you want me to pay and where too.
Thanks
Lee.

ere, were has my posts gone fromthis thread...... i hope it wasnt cause someone deemed my post as off topic.....
but just to re-iterate, so people are informed... i asked the question abotu the legality of having red blue/white light shining to the rear of the vehicle as would be the case in the door led kits.
anyways as mike pointed out, it does not form part of the MOT, which is correct...
however the
The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 part II says
No vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp which is capable of showing a red light to the front ........ therefore the door led kits would be illegal....
but since when do we care about that anyways.... but just be forewarned guys...

Guys, sorry you missed out....but I'm far too busy to have to go chasing up anyone who may have expressed an interest in the GB.
If there are any more members interested I'll run another one so long as there's enough buyers to cover the high cost of shipping from the US

Hello, has anyone tried to fit the rear indicators on the IS200, if so how did you manage it as my bulb holder has the alignment holes at 10 to 2 rather than straight accross as the LED bulbs have.
Cheers

Easy solution - just file down one of the pins. This is what I've done and the bulb fits perfectly.
