I would like to lower my 2002 GS300 . If I buy lowering springs - do I need to buy shocks as well? I have a set of 19 inch staggered wheels and the car sits a little to high. I do not want to slam it or anything, I just want it to sit right. Will just buying springs fix the problem, or will I loose ride quality if I do not buy shocks? Any suggestions? Thanks

Just springs should be fine. I think TTE do a set for the GS. You will compromise ride quality a little with lowering, but handling should also improve...

I use HKS Hipermax +LS coilover and I'm very satisfied with it. Having them installed as it is, is already enough and it sits just like I wanted. But now I'm lowering it more and I had to do another wheel alignment different from the first time installed.

I think you should consider buying the coilover. You'll need damper adjustment (hard or soft) according to your driving style and road condition.
