This is a group buy for the Quannan Q2030S (Drill through) reverse parking sensors.

Normal retail price £125 + £4.50 P&P
We need 15 people to join in this group buy. This product is fantastic and probably the best on the market.
The Quanan system includes three ultrasonic sensors, a central processor, and a digital display/audible alert unit with volume control. It can be used with two or three sensors to suit your vehicle and requirements.
The system is suitable for cars and light commercial vehicles including those with 24-volt electrics.
The device is powered from the reversing light wiring using a cable splice (supplied) via an in-line fuse.
15 interested buyers can have this for £110 including P&P
This is a great deal for such a great product!

Got you now, sounds like a good deal to me!!
What size holes do you have to put through the bumper? Hope this doesn't sound too rude but the pics posted by vince-com showed the holes looking a little rough if you know what I mean, isn't it possible to go through with a hole saw?
Steve
Dec 4 2002, 06:43 PM
a 22mm hole saw is fine mate
They defiantly fit a IS, GS and LS so I would imagine they fit others too...
Can I put you down for one spike?

Yes please Steve.
I guess the cool Lexus CD holders never materialised. I was looking forward to a couple of them. Shame.
Steve
Dec 5 2002, 03:38 PM
maybe if we make the cd holders back upto date we could get enough people.
Also maybe after xmas i could affordd to buy a few and sell them without a group buy.

I'm still new to DIY modifying of one's own car and lack the confidence of installing a quanan system.
Wonder if Chris in Stoke or anyone else has experience of installing these units. If relatively straight forward, please put me up for one!
Ta!
Steve
Dec 5 2002, 05:41 PM
Full instructions are provided.. however, they should only take an hour to install.
The whole kit is boxed up in one nice prepared kit... Everything from connectors to the glue are provided.

Think what I meant was, Someone said they take an hour to fit. if thats so, I wold still get a garage to fit mine so as not to butcher my car. question was, will a garage agree its an hours job.
I HOPE SO!
Loz
Or at the risk of being a party pooper I might go for the stick on jobbies. and have on front centre and two rear corners. How CLEVER is that!! perfect parking set up for £95.
Sorted, as they say in the east=end gangster films....

Hi Loz,
Fitting time is no more than one hour DIY. Should be easy for a garage who have tools and a ramp readily to hand.

Loz, count for 2 hours in a garage.
If you buy the kit, try to have the same car color spray too, they will have to paint it before mounting.
Sorry for the bubbles run, with the wedding and all I completly missed it.

Yo! Mr Admin,
See above. I'm in. What do I have to do next, stamp my feet and light a match!??
Let me know the deal date and I'll be on board with all you other bargain hunters...
although after backing into M&S car park last night I think I might have to put them on the Rangy instead! all the little cars dissappear and I am so used to the Lex that I am allowing way to much room. reckon you should get Quanan to have a word with the off roader magazines. bet the country is full of birds who have trouble parking these over grown shopping trolleys outside the school gates twice a day and then have the same challenge at the beauty parlor....
Sorry Dr Admin, Am I straying off the subject again....
Loz
.
Steve
Dec 12 2002, 02:50 PM
it wasnt you that was straying
Nice one mate! do you need some for side and front ?
Loz
Dec 12 2002, 02:56 PM

OI!!!
Cheeky!!
I think I might try a set of the stick on ones for the rangy. if they can getr them here overnight I'll fit them tomorrow and if they any good I'll stick with my order for the Lexus.
Sounds pretty smart to me!
Now what discount can I get for the stick on ones.....
Loz
Steve
Dec 12 2002, 03:12 PM
click the banner... see the site and give them a call... i know the stick on ones are cheaper. But the drill throughs are cheaper with this deal because we are putting together a group buy.

loz concludes that these people don't work THursdays as no body answered the phone and the message I left at the time of my last post in this thread has not been returned. OH well, I guess I'll be out in the morning playing golf and ringing round for somone who stocks them locally for a little afternoon run out and fitting session.
I'll let you know How I get on.....
oh dear.... maybe I have strayed from the fold.
But if the fold is heading over a cliff, do I really want to follow...
