Jeepers creepers,
Having had my first rear whell drive which is my 250 sport, I have to say that it aint that good in the snow!
The snow button etc is of no use, I even had to get pushed as well - how embarrising!
Anyone else had these problems?

i think its just down to rear wheel drive cars being crap in snow! we only had about an inch of snow in sheffield and i couldnt get the car off the driveway.
I probs could have if id put some effort in but i didnt want to suddenly lose control and roll into my dads LS

Just like the old IS, except you have even wider rear tyres
Some things never change.....

Living in Sweden I have driven the IS250 quite a lot in snowy conditions and I must say that it behaves better than expected. True, I did not have that high expectations…
One important thing is of course to have good winter tires. Mine are spiked but they are really too wide (225) to be really optimal (I let the looks decide, they are 17 inchers). Still the Lex in Snow Mode manages to get up my pretty steep driveway where my front wheel drive have a lot of problems getting up.
I also think it is pretty stable when driving in the snow.

The Basic problem is the tyre width which tends to run on snow rather than cutting through snow when a narrow tyre is fitted:add rear wheel drive & the outlook in snow is bleak!
