Incidentally, the US forum has pictures of a Smart Key Glove - anyone know where we can get these in blitey?

I hate the manual knob so much that I have rotated it 180 degrees, so that the shiny metal thing faces inwards... I can't believe that they can engineer something so dull and boring... especially at the "helm"

I preferred the "shiny Ball-bearing" effect of the old one

They (USA) seem to have an extra button (red) on their smart key, some sort of panic alarm I guess.

Well spotted - so unless you want the extra ventilation, the Logo'd one is better!

The thing I like about the Lexus key is the fact it is slim and fits in your pocket discreetly. These glove things just add bulk to the key by making it about 50% thicker.

Unless you're one of those guys who hangs his keys off a belt clip...?

My Audi one was totally worn out in the 3 years...

Yes, the Red button allows you to remotely trigger the alarm system. We have it on the Aust version as well. Haven't tried it yet.
