Hi,

I have a 1997 GS300 Sport Mk1 and have got a small rust spot right between the lower outer plastic door panel and the upper part of the door. I have used Chipsaway to do small paint jobs as they're very good and very resonable but on this occassion the guy couldn't figure out how to remove those lower plastic panels. The plastic bolts which are visable from the inside of the doors just spin and don't loosen.

Does anyone know if a special tool is required to remove these or is it just a case of grabbing them with mole grips and pulling them out - assuming there's a proper bolt underneth?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi

The outer lower panel mouldings are fitted with a series of bolts and adhesive pads (quite large ones!)
PM me with an email address and I will scan the relevant pages from my manual for you.
