Hi,

I've tried the search function, but I'm in an urgent rush as I have the car in bits. I can't get the stupid rear discs off it. I've removed the caliper, and got the pads out, which in itself proved tricky. Anyway, does anyone know what is holding the discs on, there is movement in them, but when I tried removing them with bolts through the holes, theres something holding the disc back, I can only assume its the drum brake shoes, which have worn down the inners of the disc and created a ridge?

Just to let you know, I'm doing it with the parking brake released, and although theres movement, still proving a pig to get off.

Thanks
Paul

P.s. Please reply asap

Didn't find a great deal with the search on "handbrake", but are you telling me theres a little cog like adjuster at the bottom of the drum, which i can adjust to slacken off the drum brakes? Do you know which way it needs to be turned to slacken them off?

Thanks
Paul
