Need to remove the air vent on the drivers side. can anybody Help!!
Hi Syd
I have recently stripped the whole interior of a Ls400 for the purpose of donor parts and a learning curve should I have to replace them to my Ls400 If I recall the dashboard vents are held in place by plastic sprung lugs which are part of the vent body .the donor car as gone now so I can,t check but I think the lugs are on the sides of the vent ,one on each side. You remove the vent by easing a flat head screwdriver between the dash body and the vent as you push in the lug ease the vent out a side at a time until the vent is about 10mm out of its seating the lugs should clear then and the vent slides out. Do not rive are yank or you will break the lugs if it is clear the vent will pop out.
Best of luck
