Women Dabble in Sex looking for Love. Men Dabble in Love Looking for Sex.
Just how true do you think this could be?
I think I have got something here!

Actually there's something interesting a friend of mine said to me a few days ago:
We were talking about men and women dumping/playing each other and he said that women are the most hurtful since when they cheat on a guy its usually 'cos they're in love with another man... yet when men do it at least its only for sex.....
Anyone in agreement?

yeah man good good.
I agree. you say a few things like you look nice tonight. or you got gorgeous eyes/smile etc and you got their attention!!
Hardest part is making conversation. If you can do that to the girl that catches your eye you are half way there.
but not all ladies are like that............(jus so the females here dnt go mad)

If A woman cheated on me and told me and I cared for her I would be hurt wether it was sex or love and sex or whatever. the loss is the same. And beleive me it would incur loss.
I would have to "kick her to the curb"
Just as a woman leaves a man if he hits her ( cos no mater how sorry he will do it again)
Apply the same principle to infidelity....
however, as steve would say, this is straying off the topic!

No doubt about it Loz. Apart from a minority, we are all genetically programmed for procreation. Women want someone to care for them and men want to have their wicked way.

MATT
how did you get to be soooo rich and soo funny?
I know so many people that look like you but are not funny and not good at anything. How come you are in disguise as an ordinary decnet bloke when secretly you are "SuperMatt!" ???
DOn't try and hide it. and also, I know you are seriously good at this work thing and I wonder why you have gone for the IS instead of the bigger Lexi??
I could see you in a GS for sure or even an LS?? Not sure about the SC430, although I bet now I have said it you'll tell me you have one on order!!!!
You are a top bloke mate, I only hope people are not stupid enough to underestimate you!

To a lot of women (me included!) the "it was only sex, it didn't mean anything" has got to be worse. It means that they would be jeapordising a relationship for something they're trying to pass off as trivial and meaningless

Hi there claire!
Gotta tell you that is my logic too!! not just womens logic. Sex is personal and to sling it around with anyone but your partner is disrespectful. I think that is just about sensitivity. Me I'm pretty sensitive about being jerked around by anyone, least of all someone I let get close to me.

who said anything about rich?
I actually chose the IS as it was smaller than the GS.
I really do not want a four door saloon - I want a sports type car (Elise would be good). Something that only fits one person, and has enough room in the boot for an overnight bag and a laptop.
But - as my missus doesn't drive, we need the sensible four door saloon, for trips, shopping etc etc.
My plan is
1 - get Mary driving
2 - give her the IS
3 - go car shopping
can't get past phase 1 though

i understand what you mean mate. i would never have a 4 door again unless the new IS temps me when they release it or unless its an S class (new shape). coz i got 4 door i got more hassle wit cousins wantin me to take them out.
i love big cars and love the lex but next one is definatly a coupe or convertible either way if its got rear seats they better not be spacious
saying that i'll take a black S class or maybe i will be able to get the CL coupe

Steve, it gets harder as the better educated and experienced women don't fall for the lines about how wonderful your hair/eyes/arse is ...... also proportionately more are no longer single. BUT - when you do find one - more chance that it will be fulfilling as the 'quickies' are all out of the system and you don't have all that stupid 'melodrama' over silly little things anymore (no offence men...)
As for the original question - I actually don't think that men and women are as different from each other as men would like to believe.
I think the only big difference is communication and empathy - women are not as likely to respond to 'urges' as their empathy is stronger and they do consider the hurt they will cause (when already in a relationship). Also the potential consequences are drastic for both parties - but worse for the woman.

Loz,
I think your statement is wrong, just change the word "Men" for "Women" and "Women" for "Men" and your statment would make more sense.
Just my thoughts

Well Well Well....
Firstly I would have to confess that really bad day for me would involve having to choose between a CL500 and the LS430 I hate to say that I am leaning towards the Merc really. Mitch, I'm with you on this on. of course the best solution would be to have both.
As for the Older you get the tougher the pulling gets:
Yes, I agree with UV that the cream is better and harder work as a result but the fact remains that men dabble in Love looking for way to get rid of the out of date condoms festeringf in their wallet, bedside table, Ford Transit glove box.... whatever. the girls are still looking for prince charming or prince "single/solvent/sexy/silent when your on the phone to your mates"....
C'mon girls, 'fess up. you favour the sanctuary of a loving relationship over the sensless shagging after a few beers and dance.
I am afraid this is where I am too much in touch with my feminine side. I fear I will be ending this relationship because my girl is once bitten twice shy. don't let 'em in in case they hurt you again. I understand it, but that alone is not enough to get us through it so I fear tomorrow is going to be heavy... assuming I grow up and get the feck outta there!

Nope Loz - I stand by my original view....
Some men are wanting the secure, loving relationship just as some women are. But also there are plenty of women just the same as the many men who are not looking for a relationship - they too are after the physical gratification and mental reassurance of a multitude of sexual 'conquests'.
As for your current situation - good luck mate - tough one.

Sure it gets harder. If you've been off the scene for a while it takes a little time and effort to get into talking with strangers, finding out what makes women tick these days.
Best advice, buy a Springer Spaniel dog if you live near the country, or a Golden Labrador in town, leave the women alone

. Well try anyway.
