Just had "B" service on Mk1 GS300 Sport. Used Leicester instead of Coventry due to price. Service,new plugs,coolant,brake fluid,dif oil, cambelt, new bulb. 15% discount on parts and labour...total bill £505.81. Dropped me and wife in town and picked us up. seems a good job done. Only complaints..£50 for oil and car was washed but not dried off so covered in spots on body and windows......Also a tin of sweets on passenger seat. All in all very happy

I had my IS serviced at Leicester this week. This was the first service I've had on my Lexus Service Plan, and it was rather strange to just pick up the keys and go through the service checklist with the young lady at the service desk without having to get the cheque book or credit card out.

When I took the car in, I gave them a list of all the niggles I wanted fixing and.... they fixed them all! I will not fear rain and tight trousers again.

There was no tin of sweeties though, which was a shame. Next time perhaps.

There used to be some good looking woman at Lex Leics, and im glad you had a good service. But £500+ for a service! Ouich! How does any garage justify that?!

£505 inc VAT was not just for service. Series 1 GS300 schedule is "A" Service, "A" Service, "B" Service. That was for the big "B" Service , new plugs, all fluids except autobox, and cambelt. Quoted by 2 other Lexus centres both a lot more expensive, 1 was for over £900. Non franchise were asking between £450 and £550.
I normally use Lexus Coventry but the price at Coventry was WAY too expensive.
