Apart from the fact that they do not have many parts available for my car, you need to consider the import duty and VAT when it arrives in the UK. You also need to be careful that the part numbers are the same as Europe for the parts you purchase as well as factoring the additional duty and VAT.

I've got a set of wheels waiting inspection by Customs and Excise at the moment that I have to pay 5% duty and 17.5% (albeit from Japan). They appear to have a hard-on for things automotive at the moment as the importer says they also insisted on checking an imported Porsche engine that recently arrived.
