Hi all, I have noticed the steering wheel shakes when braking from approx 60mph, I think I need new discs, so, where's the best place to get them? don't want to spend too much, but would like reasonable quality.
Also are they easy to fit and are there any instruction to do so?
Best regards Lee

Are you sure that they are the brakes?
They are very easy to change.
I did mine a week ago.
Once the wheel is off, it is just 4 bolts.
Once the caliper is off, the disc just slides off. If they have been on there a while it may need a bit of persuasion.

hi webbbr, yeah pretty sure, it only happens when braking and the discs have a small ridge on the outer edge which would suggest they have worn down to the minimum width and as a consequence are beginning to warp.

Make sure you don't have a sticky Piston or Two. It can cause the same symptons.

Unless you are doubly sure its your discs I would check the torque setting of your front wheels.
I had a similar problem with my GS but after a routine geometry check at the doctor's (Dr Bones alias Tony) and some re-torqueing of front wheel nuts all was well and has been ever since.
May have saved you a few bob if its not your discs.
