looking at buying one of the LE yellow sports is200's the the 18's as standard. Does anyone know if these came with a spare as standard. I just find it hard to believe that they could fit an 18 in the wheel well

I'd asume so, the diamater of the alloy won't matter as the tyre wall thickness will decrease so the Outside diamiter of the 18" alloy tyre is the same as the Outside diamiter of the 17" tyre. if i made that clear? sorry

Oh and welcome, the LE is really nice, I wouldn't want it in yellow but thats because ive already done a yellow car before, you'll love it when you have it and then if you swap it you'll not want another yellow car, its kind of wierd.

18" spare fit fine. I have a Sport with the standard 18" wheels and it's a full size spare.
