Mmmm try again, didnt work last time..
The misses left the aerial up on my mk1 gs300 last w/e in the car wash, so now its knackered.
Can i just replace the inner part or does the whole thing have to be changed.

I have a brand new OEM Electric Aerial mast you can for for £15 if you want it. I bought it from the US for my aerial which I have since found out is completely knackered so I've had to replace the whole thing. Please email me at simon@hornby.net if you're interested.

Yes you can provided you get the correct replacement.
I had same problem, got a replacement mast and toothed inner cable from the States.
In all a 20min job.
