With the colder weather and the amount of frost on my small country roads up here in Scotland I'm running into some traction problems with my RS200. I'm used to dealing with rear wheel drive in these conditions, I've had a AE86 and a Nissan 200. The real issue is no LSD but i will try and sort that out with one from a UK sport.

My real question is about the traction control system. The traction control panel was missing when i got the car, but I'm interested in the connections at the back, as i seem to have a spare blue connector that should connect to something at that level, unless it's from the missing head unit.

Does the traction control use the ABS system by the way ?

traction control uses the abs system, so is actually a pain, as it apllys the rear brakes.

not much use when your trying to get up a slop......

its better to just get decent winter tyres
