Just about to order a set of Tein S Tech lowering springs for the Altezza but there's 2 sets listed, soft & medium...

What do other people have? Much of a difference???

Thinkin medium would be better but at the same time don't want it too rough :blush:

Ask them for the spring rate values.... standard springs are 5 front and also 5 at the rear....

if they are lower then they will be soft and obviously harder if higher...

I came very close to buying these lovely good value HKS's springs till i done some research and found they would actually be softer than what i already have....

Soft:
Front = 1.9 - 5.5k .............................. Rear = 2.0 - 4.4k

Medium:
Front = 1.8 - 7.6k .............................. Rear = 1.7 - 6.2k

This all means nothing to me :blush:

Those soft ones would be a step in the wrong direction unless you think your car is too hard at present, whereas the medium ones shouldn't be much harder, but are they also shorter?

What about "progressive" springs? ... thats what i'm looking for, basically the springs are normal at the start and get stiffer as they are more compressed.... best of both worlds i reckon.. B)
