Hi, been busy and my lovely IS200 needs a service now as it went pass 16K few days ago.
how much will they cost? had a quote of 330 quid in Milton Keynes. they said that its counted as a major services and they change the diff oils, engine oil, washer fluid and some (not sure what) filters.
is it right? please tell me asap, i will try to check from time to time from work if possible as i want to keep the IS in the best condition
thanks

I must be misunderstanding this... 16k isn't a service point, they are 10k and 20k. Alternatively, in the case of low-mileage cars, 1 and 2 years for minor/major respectively.
Either way, I don't think changing the diff oil is a standard item even for a major service? And as for mentioning the washer fluid, tell them to forget it. You can buy enough concentrate at halfords to make a hundred litres of washer fluid for the price they charge for a fill!
Maybe they misheard you and thought you said 60k?

As mike said, theres no such service as a 16K, unless you mean a 60K or 160k

when i first bought the car, it was on 12K.
I was then told, when its near to 16K, time to prepair for a service. so i went in and asked for a 16K service
i have never been to the dealer for services, i used to do it myself but thought it will be nice if i can keep it for Full Lexus service history.
Anyway, the service is done and yes, according to what i see on the paper, diff oil has been replaced
