Hi all, would anyone know if there is any great speed difference between a gs430 and a vertex tt? Many thanks all
aido
There's not a massive speed difference between the two, but the V300 TT is definitely quicker!

According to the official specs they both run the same bhp, ~280 IIRC although the TT is running closer to 320 and torque wise the TT runs 333ft/lb and the GS430 308lb/ft - both peak at around the same point in the rev range.

Weight wise the TT comes is at 1680kg, whereas the GS430 is 1745kg.

As you can see the TT model has nearly 10% more torque, and weighs ~ 3% less as well, giving it a bit of an advantage!

The other thing is that the TT is incredibly easy to tune by changing the exhaust, filter and plugs which would probably give it a 20% lead over the GS430 in terms of power to weight I'd guess!

Some of the guys are modifying the GS430 in the US which are incredibly quick but stock for stock the TT does have an advantage :)

Yeah forced induction of any variety allows more scope for improvement far cheaper than normally aspirated does. N/A engines to realise all of their potential need to have a bit of forced induction to get them there.
