Having bought our RX in February this year, we only got our V5 document through last week. So very excited popped down to the DVLA Local Office and got everything swapped over. Popped into Lexus MK and had them make up a set of plates. I (cheekily) asked for a discount and got 15%...result biggrin.gif.

Got home, took of the old plates, marked up the holes for the new plates and somehow managed to get the front plate all messed up. Went back to Lexus MK, told them what had happened and not only did they make up a front plate FOC, they even drilled the holes for me - when I got home, holes were spot on and the RX now looks like a 'proper' Lexus should biggrin.gif

How impressed and stunned was I when they declined to take payment for the replacement plate? Would I have gotten that level of Service from BMW? Or any other prestige manufacturer? Perhaps not. Would they have offered to drill the holes for me? Again, I think not.

I think this is my first 'true' Lexus expereince...and am slowly starting to get a fee for why people rave on so much about Lexus. Wen replacing our RX would I give Lexus another look? Most definitely. You don't appreciate Customer Service until you experience it Lexus Style - and hats off to them. Long may it continue IMHO.

So for people who are thinking about buying a Lexus, I would say just go, look see and experience it - then decide. There is much truth to the acclaimed Lexus Customer Care...
