You will find that the price of the service will vary (as with many other manufacturers) and this is attributable to some franchises doing things that others would not (ie: charge you extra for) or how they break down the job into labour time units and their labour rate (per hour).

Don't be shy in asking for a discount either. Can't comment on the Service price, but Lexus Hanley seem to be the msot competitive around for servicing. Now not all of us can get to them (I am one!) but if you use their prices as a benchmacrk, and are realistic as to price, then you will get a good idea of this service should cost in London (with all the price inflation there exists in the capital).

I opted for a Pre-Paid Service Plan for our RX so don't have to worry about each service cost.

Just to put into perspective. Lexus Hanley charge £89.82

I have recently requested quotes for a 50k service Guidford quoted £272.02 which included coolant change and Reading quoted £235 including coolant change.

They do vary so check around.

I just had my 50k intermediate on my 2003 RX300 last Thursday and it was £161 from Lexus Bracknell. I agree with the other comments, shop around, as the prices vary a lot. Why Reading Lexus is dearer than Bracknell I will never know, they are the same dealership !!
